About This Event
The IIUC CSE Fest 2026 Videography Competition is organized by IIUC Computer Club in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIUC. The theme is open and welcomes positive, creative, educational, emotional, social, or cinematic concepts that respect university ethics and Islamic values. This solo contest celebrates original storytelling, cinematic craft, and technical excellence. Registration runs June 2-14, 2026, and the final screening and result announcement will be held on June 16, 2026 (evening).
Eligibility
Open to all IIUC students (any department). Solo submissions only. One video per participant. A participant cannot be part of multiple submissions.
Important Rules
- 1Open theme; content must respect university ethics and Islamic values.
- 2Allowed: positive, creative, educational, emotional, social, or cinematic concepts.
- 3Not allowed: biographies of specific persons, historical movements, political content, or anything unethical.
- 4Maximum duration: 2 minutes; footage must be original. AI-generated video is prohibited.
- 5Recommended resolution: 1080p Full HD or higher; ensure clear visuals and stable framing.
- 6Allowed audio: ambient sound, voice-overs, dialogue, foley, soft cinematic atmosphere, instrument-free nasheeds.
- 7Prohibited audio: explicit songs, heavy EDM/DJ tracks, copyrighted music, instruments, or inappropriate SFX.
- 8Submit to the official Google Drive link and set sharing to "Anyone with the link can view".
- 9File name format: Name_ID_Device_EditingSoftware (example: Sakif_C241268_CanonM50_CapCut).
- 10Upload the video to Facebook with a caption, device and software info, hashtags #iiuc_cse_fest_2026 and #IIUC_CC_VideographyContest, and tag IIUC Computer Club.
- 11Both Drive upload and Facebook post are mandatory; missing either, late submission, or violations cause disqualification.
- 12Videos must remain publicly visible on Facebook until the event ends.
